A non ablative treatment using two different wavelengths of Q-Switch Laser that work on the pigment in a similar way to tattoo removal; using a nanosecond pulse to shatter the underlying pigment in the skin, making it ideal for the treatment of melasma and general freckling and pigmentation.
Using Nd:YAG laser technology this non-ablative treatment will assist to stimulate collagen formation by delivering heat to the dermis, creating a controlled thermal injury that will improve tone, texture, tightness and reduce the appearance of pore size, sun damage and vascular concerns.
Using Nd:YAG laser technology to reduce acne inflammation by heating of the sebaceous glands to treat active acne breakouts while reducing the possibility of developing new inflammatory acne. Our Acne Laser Facial will accelerate the healing process while stimulating new collagen remodeling.
Pigmented lesions are remarkably common and the overwhelming majority are benign. It is widely recognized in the medical community that Q-Switched lasers are the ideal tools for effectively removing benign pigmented lesions. Multi-wavelength, Q-Switched laser systems with frequency-doubled KTP are uniquely able to produce very short pulses of intense light that are selectively absorbed by treatment-specific pigments in a lesion.
Four Wavelengths for the Widest Range of Lesions
Fotona’s QX Max laser system are the perfect tool for treating a wide range of pigmented lesions, enabling treatments for everything from nevi (moles) and vascular lesions to ephelides, sunspots and melasma. Superficial lesions can be treated most effectively with the 532 nm wavelength, while the 1064 nm wavelength can be used to target deeper lesions.
Safe, Effective and Minimally Invasive Treatments
For a difficult-to-treat condition such as melasma the QX Max is especially effective due to the selectivity of Q-switched light, enabling it to break apart pigments only and not cells. This means that pigment destruction can take place without ablating the skin – a unique feature that also allows other treatment possibilities, such as the safe and effective removal of complex, multi-colored tattoos.
Laser treatments are now a routine procedure for the removal of many types of vascular lesions, including hemangiomas, vascular malformations such as port-wine stains, telangiectasias, venous lakes and angiomas.
The Perfect Vascular Solution
Long-pulse Nd:YAG lasers offer the perfect solution for treating vascular lesions. Fotona’s long-pulse Nd:YAG lasers penetrate to a depth of 5-6 mm into the skin, allowing for highly effective treatments. Independent research shows that over 75% of patients with deep hemangiomas that are treated with Nd:YAG lasers see a dramatic regression in the lesion.
Fotona offers a range of systems with long-pulse Nd:YAG, such as the XP Dynamis, that are perfect for the treatment of vascular lesions. In addition, the multi-wavelength QX MAX system with Q-switched KTP is also an ideal platform for the removal of vascular as well as pigmented lesions.
Safe, Effective and Minimally Invasive.
The targeted chromophore for vascular lesions is intravascular oxyhemoglobin; thus, thermal damage is largely restricted to cutaneous blood vessels. The energy from the laser is absorbed by the blood in the vein, converted into heat, and the vein walls are subsequently destroyed. In comparison with other wavelengths, which mainly affect the surface layers of a lesion, Nd:YAG light also targets the underlying vascular feeding system, which is important for ensuring the long-term efficacy the treatment. This process is perfectly safe as other healthy veins supply blood to the treated area and the body’s immune system clears away the dead tissue just as with a bruise.
Fotona offers a laser acne treatment protocol that provides a truly comprehensive solution to the problem of acne. Fotona’s precisely controlled Nd:YAG laser light safely penetrates into skin to effectively target overactive sebaceous glands and to reduce the risk of developing new acne inflammation.
Fast results, Without Side-Effects
For active acne, Fotona’s laser treatment reduces acne inflammation through photoselective absorption and controlled heating effects. Fotona’s high powered Nd:YAG laser safely penetrates the skin to an optimal treatment depth to thermally and selectively destroy overactive sebaceous glands.
In addition to its thermal penetration effects, the Nd:YAG acne laser treatment also accelerates the healing process and stimulates collagen remodeling, an important step in the long-term treatment of acne.
Gentle & Effective Acne Scar Revision
For treating problematic acne scars our Fotona laser system can help to improve the skin texture and tone resulting in a more even appearance. Unlike chemical peels and dermabrasion, laser skin resurfacing allows the penetration depth to be precisely controlled.
